Kevin Mahaffy

Kevin Mahaffy is the President of Medallion Industries, Inc., a trusted supplier of windows, doors, millwork, and hardware serving the residential and multifamily construction industries since 1951.
Kevin began his career with Medallion in January 1999 in Outside Sales, where he built strong customer relationships and developed a deep understanding of the business. His leadership skills and commitment to excellence led to promotions to Inside Sales Manager in 2017, Vice President of Sales in 2020, and ultimately President in July 2021.

A 1996 graduate of Portland State University with a degree in Psychology, Kevin spent two years at Nike before joining his father, Mike Mahaffy (now retired), at Medallion. As a leader, Kevin takes a thoughtful, people-first approach grounded in the principles of servant leadership—empowering employees, fostering growth, and serving as a resource to help others succeed.

Kevin is deeply proud of the legacy and culture established by Medallion’s founder, Norm Tschida, and continued by successors Tim Mahaffy (CEO and President) and Julie Nix (Vice President). He attributes much of Medallion’s success and unity to its many long-tenured employees who embody the company’s values, commitment to excellence, and customer centric approach.

Outside of work, Kevin’s favorite pastime is attending or watching sporting events, especially those involving the Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon Ducks, or Atlanta Braves. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to tropical destinations. He is dedicated to his faith and community involvement, which continue to inspire his leadership and outlook.
