Maria has developed a strong foundation in Human Resources through her work with companies across diverse industries and organizational structures.

She joined Medallion Windows & Doors in early 2023, stepping into the world of windows and doors manufacturing—a new and exciting chapter in her HR journey. Since then, she has embraced the industry’s dynamic environment and the company’s growth, especially following Medallion’s relocation to a beautiful, expanded facility in Portland.

Before joining Medallion, Maria worked in the Agriculture and Horticulture industries in California. There, she supported organizations known for their innovation in organic farming and horticulture, including the production of certified organic fruits, vegetables, and culinary herbs. She also worked with a leading floral design center that offered handcrafted bouquets, seasonal arrangements, and botanical gifts—an experience that introduced her to the integration of robotic technology in traditional industries.

Throughout her career, Maria has developed a strong foundation in the core competencies of Human Resources. She believes success in HR requires being organized, a clear communicator, a thoughtful problem solver, and someone who is comfortable making tough decisions. She relies on data daily, thrives in multitasking environments, and values attention to detail. Above all, she leads with kindness, respect, and a passion for continuous learning.
