Robert Gehne

Robert has been with Medallion since April 2022, first serving as Director of Service & Warranty before moving to Director of Operations. His career in the industry began right out of high school with Mercer Industries, where a summer job as a production helper quickly evolved into managing the patio door department. From there, he transitioned into service and has spent the past 38 years working hands-on with windows, doors, and building systems of every kind.

Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and practical solutions. His background spans service technician work across windows, doors, electrical, and plumbing, as well as experience teaching as a Driving Instructor and Certified Installation Masters Instructor. He is passionate about helping customers understand their options so they can make informed choices, and he approaches each project with patience, empathy, and a philosophy of “teaching through service.” Sharing knowledge and finding ways to improve products and processes are what he values most at Medallion.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs, tackling home improvement projects, and unwinding over a good meal at the end of the day. He’s also an avid photographer, enjoys catching races at the track, and strives to make every day feel like a Friday.
